Test Results
Test results provide a way for programming teams to track the Testing/QC/Validation outcomes of TFLs and Datasets
- A Passsed Test Result record is added automatically when users change the TFL or Dataset status from Ready -> Tested
- Can be added individually by Programmers or Statisticians
- There are two types: Passed and Failed
- An Issue can be optioanlly created from a Failed Test Result
- Test Results can be added to individual TFLs or Datasets or in bulk using the Add Test Result wizard
- Test Results can be viewed across TFLs and Datasets for an Analysis via the Test Result index
Test Result Details
Field | Additional Information |

Test Method | A drop down list of Methods (e.g. Independent Programming, Comparison to Previous, Unit Testing, Stat Reviewed). Multiple Test Methods can be selected. |
Test Program | The name of the program used to perform the test (optional) |
Description | A description of the Passed or Failed test result. |
Test Result Index
Open the Test Result index for Analysis
- Navigate to the details page for an Analysis.
- Click the located in the middle, right hand side of the page.
Filter the Test Result index by using the drop down menus or by using the Filter input box.
Add Test Results in Bulk
Add multiple passed or failed test results across TFL or Datasets using the bulk wizard.
- Navigate to TFL Index for a given Analysis.
- Click the Actions drop down menu
- Click the Add Test Results item
- Select Add Passed Test Results or Add Failed Test Results option
- (optional) if Add Failed Test Results is selected, then the option to also create a linked Issue to this failed test result is available. Check the Yes option to add an Issue at the time the failed Test Result is created.
- Click .
- Select whether or not to have default values used or to complete a form when creating the Test Result
- Click .
- If Complete Test Result form was used, fill out the form and click Next, otherwise go to next step.
- Select the TFLs to add the Test Result to (at least 1 is required).
- Click .

Follow the same steps on the Dataset Index to add Test Results to Dataset records.
Note
When adding Test Results using the Add Test Result form the system will automatically select the Default Test Methods defined in the system. Users can change the test methods as appropriate for the test result. Candid users with the Administrator role can change the test method(s) tagged as the default.

Add Test Results Individually
Add Passed or Failed Test Results using default values
- Navigate to the details page for a TFL or Dataset.
- Go to the middle of the page where the Test Result section is located.
- Click the or the .
Add Passed Test Result using a form
- Navigate to the details page for a TFL or Dataset.
- Go to the middle of the page where the Test Result section is located.
- Click the green down arrow button and select Add Passed Test with Details
- Complete the form and click
Add Failed Test Result using a form
- Navigate to the details page for a TFL or Dataset.
- Go to the middle of the page where the Test Result section is located.
- Click the red down arrow button and select Add Failed Test with Details
- Optionally, select the radio button to Yes to also add a linked Issue to the newly created failed Test Result
- Complete the form and click
